The local health system across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire remains in ‘major incident’ status this morning (Saturday, May 12) and services continue to be busy.
Although NHS organisations and services across the area are continuing to work well together to ensure there is capacity to treat patients, all services do remain remain under additional pressure this weekend. Health leaders are continuing to urge patients to think carefully about the most appropriate services for their needs over the coming days.
Residents are reminded that the Minor Injuries Units (MIUs) in Yate and Clevedon and the Urgent Care Centre in South Bristol have extended their opening hours this weekend and are able to treat children over 1, and adults, with minor injuries.

Yate MIU: Open 9am to 2pm
South Bristol Urgent Care Centre: Open 8am to 10pm
Clevedon MIU: Open 8am to 10pm
