Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG Constitution

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Constitution sets out our responsibilities for commissioning health care for the local patients.

It describes the governing principles, rules and procedures that we will establish to ensure probity and accountability in the day to day running of the CCG; to ensure decisions are taken in an open and transparent way and that the interests of patients and public remain central to the goals of the group.

This constitution is made between the members of Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire CCG and has effect from 1 April 2018.

Nationally, the NHS Constitution for England brings together in one place details of what staff, patients and the public can expect from the National Health Service.
