North Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group undertook a project in 2013 to identify options for how future clinical services might be commissioned at Clevedon Community Hospital.
The project reflected the CCG’s intention to develop sustainable proposals for improving the provision of local high quality health care for the hospital’s catchment area.
Options for consideration were drawn-up with patients, the public and stakeholders (in a process called co-production) to ensure there was shared ownership of the recommendations that emerged and that we took into account the views expressed to us.
This engagement has now closed, but the CCG is aware that people remain very interested in the project and its outcome. Further engagement on the services commissioned at Clevedon Community Hospital will resume at a later date.
