Chief Finance Officer (Deputy Chief Executive)

Sarah is the Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Finance Officer at Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board.

Sarah joined the NHS as a graduate trainee specialising in finance and has worked as a Chief Finance Officer for over twenty years in a range of commissioning and provider organisations. She is a CIPFA-qualified accountant with extensive experience in strategic financial planning, use of data and intelligence for decision-making and engagement with the wider NHS.

Sarah is Chair of the NHS Confederation’s ICS finance forum. She has worked in the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire system since 2018 and in addition to her leadership of the finance community she is also the Chair of the estates steering group for the system.
