Rosi Shepherd

Chief Nursing Officer

Rosi is a registered nurse, and was previously Director of Nursing and Quality for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), a post she started in January 2020.

As Chief Nursing Officer for the ICB, Rosi is responsible for continuous quality improvement and providing senior clinical leadership to colleagues across the health and care system. Rosi’s role includes embedding meaningful patient and public engagement within the development and improvement of care and ensuring high-quality services for a population of just over one million people.

Before her role at the CCG, Rosi was a Deputy Director of Nursing for NHS England and Improvement, where she worked across the southern region on a range of portfolio areas including quality improvement in primary care, safeguarding, and Continuing Health Care; and was the carers lead for the south of England. Before this, Rosi held a variety of senior roles in health and social care across Gloucestershire, with a focus on the delivery of integration.
